A MoonPie Christmas
Good morning folks!
Today you will write.
How was your holiday?
I treated myself to some MoonPies this holiday season. If you don’t know what they are, here’s a quick Wikipedia definition:
An American confection, popular across much of the United States, which consists of two round graham cookies, with marshmallow filling in the center, dipped in a flavored coating).
I ordered a box. it was dumb. It was worth it. Nostalgia for these fructose corn syrup-filled treats got the better of me.
They arrived.
And they’re just as artificial as I remember. And they’re wonderful, especially frozen.
In this newsletter, I often find myself writing about sugar/candy/treats which is telling me something about myself and what I enjoy writing about. I think it’s inspiring me to write an essay on MoonPies.
Anyway, go get your hands on a MoonPie or a vegetable if you can.
And more importantly write something today about what you treated or didn’t treat yourself to this holiday.
Happy writing!
